Aidan loved it. The neighbor boys we brought with us loved it. Riley was ready to leave after twenty minutes.
The Husband and I were too.
Boring and long.
That's all I can say.
Boring and long.
What a crappy movie.
Well at least Aidan enjoyed himself.
If you have to go, go but don't make both parents endure this movie. Flip a coin to see who has to do movie duty, rig it if you can so you don't have to go.
It was like torture how long and bad and boring it was.
And the animation sucked too.
The worst.
Not good.

Thanks so much for the warning...I was going to take my two (Matilda 14 and Myles 12) to see it this weekend. I figured they were big enough to go alone after reading your post.
They came our quite nonplussed about it all, Matilda didn't enjoy it "Should have just left Start Wars alone Mum..." was her comment and I must admit, my initial reaction to seeing the trailers. Myles enjoyed it well enough but he's not developed especially discerning tastes as yet.
So again, thanks for the warning, I dropped them at the cinema and picked them up...had a lovely time in between doing some window shopping & lunch at a favourite cafe...it doesn't happen often.
I totally agree. The only reason I took Cameron to this movie is because I knew it was going to be created for a six year old boy. I also got him to read a chapter book about the movie -- just to motivate him into the new school year.
The movie was so rough. Cam loved it.
