So I tried something Dr. Sears suggested; snack trays.

Yes, they are ice cube trays I filled with food. Frozen grapes, cheese sticks, turkey jerky, pickles (for Riley, he's a pickle boy), the ever popular gold fish crackers and other fun stuff. Lots of good, filling food. I thought it would tide them over for a bit.
And they loved it. Really they thought is was great, see?
But once they had cleaned those out, they were clamoring for more food all over again.
But at least I know they had eaten a good amount of food so I gave them some water and sent them outside to play instead.
I swear those two are going to be blobs if I keep let them eating the way they want to. SO they will each get a snack tray in the afternoon and that is it until dinner unless they want a fruit and veggie refill. Food is not a cure for boredom, believe me, I should know.
Needless to say, I think my children hate me. Oh well, at least they'll be healthy.

We are dr sears snack tray people in our house too.
The bee eats NONSTOP on some days. The other days she magically consumes all the calories she needs from water and air.
THat's a cool (haha) idea! Love it!
Love the idea!
Mine are on a kick right now where they would cheerfully eat about four snack trays but are opposed to anything that is served at an actual meal (???) Little nuts.
I'm very impressed with your raw vegan thing. I'm stuck in that rut where I know I'd feel better if I ate more raw food (or at lease more veggies, even if cooked) but I'm TOO DAMN LAZY to do anything about it!
